The LYT Kit has been been downloaded over 30,000 times. Here are the 7 additions I am most excited about in LYT Kit 6.
- ACCESS: A folder structure that gives you access to your world of knowledge. ACCESS balances common tensions in PKM: Knowledge vs Action … Folders vs Links
- Spaces: Spaces are one of the most important parts of ACCESS. When you have something big in your life, deploy a space and set up MAPS (we’ll get to that next). “Spaces” are more flexible than “projects” and more versatile than “areas”. Spaces contain both. Spaces are the biggest spaces of effort in your work and personal life. And within each space, you just set up MAPS…
-
MAPS: Remember the tension between “folders vs links”? Here’s part of the solution: Use MOCs. It’s actually quite simple. For every space you have in your life, you just deploy the MAPS folder structure:
- MOCs: Dashboards for your space.
- Areas: subfolders containing relevant notes that are ongoing.
- Projects: subfolders containing relevant notes with end dates.
- Support notes: hold notes specific to that space!
-
Cooling Pad

-
Notebox

-

-
Artifacts
