Meta - Context on search and backlink panes

This post consolidates requests around the context shown in backlink and search panes.

Customizing the amount of text shown in the panes:

Request: Show more context on backlinks and search panes

Lists:

• showing all child bullets
• block + sub-blocks

How much context?

• Different levels of detail:
  • between titles only and content
  • title, title & match, title + match + context
• customize the number of lines
• show complete paragraphs
• Add a slider with 3-4 levels

• By default unfold all results: Automatically unfold all search results when they fit in search pane

Hierarchy

Requests:

• Show heading title instead of note title in backlinks section (or breadcrumbs)
• Allow Show folder name alongwith file name in backlinks

Summary:

• Show header breadcrumbs for the backlink pane.
• Show folder name as breadcrumbs

Related:

• Sort header links by order in backlinks panel (should be solved if matches are grouped by header).
• Expand file explorer and search results with headings : Same principle as breadcrumbs for the search pane, but I didn’t merge this as it also includes the File Explorer.

Formatting

• Tables: In search, extra whitespaces should be removed when "Show more context" is on
• Presentation: Display search results and backlinks in preview mode
