There is “zoom level” setting in “apperance”. For me it always gets set to 91% on app start up and I can’t figure out why. I change it to 100% to make the UI normal size, but then I quit the app, open it again, and it’s back to 91%.
I suppose this setting should be saved into the “.obsidian/appearance.json” file. There is nothing related to zoom level there and nothing gets written into it when I change zoom level.
Clicking “restore to default” has the same effect as setting to 100% manually.
If it’s relevant, the “restore to default” button doesn’t disappear after the zoom level is set to 100%.
Things I have tried
I’ve googled for “obsidian zoom level resets on restart” and similar queries.
I’ve tried disabling dropbox sync, but that didn’t help.
What I’m trying to do
Make zoom level persist between app restarts.
