When using Zettelkasten and other methods (e.g. IMF), you get to have different kinds of notes: usual ones, and index notes that have outlines in them, or just links for notes related to a single concept. I know that the whole web-like view is intended to smash out any hierarchy, but it’s still hard to think out from it, especially if you are searching for some idea, not a specific idea… some notes may have hundred of links that even the local graph view can’t declutter.
This can happen through different ways I guess… I suggest the ability to color the notes (maybe in a method related to some #hashtag inside its content?). Index notes would have different color from the usual ones for example. Maybe, also some kind of a hierarchy where notes are polarized in the view according to their type?
