One may set their Cmd/Ctrl+N command and file explorer New Note icon to always create note in a specified folder. To create a note in another folder then, they must:
Navigate to folder in the file explorer
Right click on folder
Select “New Note”
This can get rather tiresome if one needs create lots of new notes.
Proposed solution
A simple + icon when hovering over a folder name would save one the trouble of having to bring up the context menu every time to perform such a common action.
