Live Preview: Support Footnotes in Callouts

Footnotes Broken in Callout Boxes while in Preview Mode.

In other words, there’s no indication of the footnote being anything other than a simple number with no brackets or coloration in Preview Mode.

This may be either intended behavior or perhaps a planned feature that has yet to be implemented yet.

If so, this may be best labeled as a feature request.

+1. I use footnotes very often but I avoid using them in callouts because I don’t like how they display in Live Preview.

One could argue that this is not a feature request, but rather a bug fix, as different components of a software should work well together.

I have often seen the following as a feature request, where in reality it is a bug-fix request.

The Bug. Footnotes do not show the way they are expected to in Obsidian callouts.

Sample Text to Reproduce. In a new document type,

This issue affects I think every .cm-embed-block > .markdown-rendered, including tables. It really does look and feel like a bug, even if it is technically because it was never added.

Hi, I am not sure if this is a bug, but footnotes inside callout won’t render as a footnote when in editing mode.
Here is what I mean.
I have 3 footnotes, one in a callout, one in a quote block and one in plain text.

If I am in reading mode they all look the same…

But if I switch to editing mode, the one inside the callout will only render a number…

Personally, I think it makes more sense that the footnote inside the callout would render in the same ways as the other 2 footnotes, especially since I spend a lot of time in editing mode, and the way footnotes are usually shown let me identify them very easily.

I’m using sandbox 1.4.16
