The image gets ‘opened’/enlarged into its own superimposed view and we can zoom in, out, etc. without anything getting in the way.
Actual result
The image opens, but the editor also thinks we’re about to modify its URL/name, placing the cursor on it and triggering the keyboard above the image view.

Additional information
The issue gets triggered with both local and remote images.
As one would expect, this happens both on iPad and iPhone.
Yes, this is annoying, as well as image pinch zoom (it often seems to lose “focus” returning back to the note instead of zooming).
For the keyboard issue, the best workaround I have found is setting the pull-down shortcut to toggle reader/edit mode… it makes switching between modes seamless and I stay in reader mode for viewing.
When I clicking an image added to a note on Obsidian mobile app, image will be open, and keyboard will show up. I can type something. But I can’t see the input cursor, I don’t know where my input is.
For example, I type “What” after clicking an image, but where is “What”? Then Click image again, the image will be closed, I finally can see “What”.
When I click the image, the keyboard would not show up.
OR
The keyboard would show up, but I can see my input cursor and where my input.
Actual result
When I click the image, I can’t see the input cursor, I don’t know where my input is.

Additional information:
This only happens in editing mode. I assume this happens because, on the desktop version of Obsidian, clicking on an image while in editing mode allows you to edit the link/embed. However, mobile has the feature of image pop-ups to fullscreen when tapped… Desktop doesn’t.
Would be prefferable to disable the image pop-up while in editing mode.
