Mobile: Edit image links by tapping the image

Use case or problem

Tapping on an image in editing view on mobile doesn’t edit the image link like it does on desktop.

Proposed solution

Add an option to not make the image popup in editing view and edit the link instead.

Current workaround (optional)

Tapping somewhere on the note and somehow moving the cursor so it’s over the image’s embed link. Annoying to do when it’s many image embeds in a row and you want to edit one down the list.

YES. I don’t know what the current setup is meant to accomplish — the image barely changes size when it pops up.

i was looking for solution and only found this post (and related bug report).

since nobody is complaining, is there something we are not aware of? or is there some kind of setting or theme which is causing this behavior for us?

what i have tried is minimal theme with style settings - there is an option to disable zoom, which does not disable the zoom. no idea what i am doing wrong.
