How to automatically add a file note into a specified folder if the note has a given link?

I write down fleeting notes and sometimes I just mention the link of the folder note. I was hoping for the file to automatically move itself to the folder for that given link. Is there any way to do so? Thanks in advance

Create new note into selected folder

Hi @Remco, you can set the “Default location for new notes” option to “Same folder as current file” [image] Also,if you right-click on the folder you want and choose New note, it will be created in that same folder [image] There are previous posts requesting a feature on this same topic, maybe you could check them: Command to open folder picker when creating a new note Let plugins register a destination for "New Note"
