Editor View Jumps When Clicking Embed Sections

Steps to reproduce

  1. Unzip the attached demo zip file “TestVaultNew.zip” (This zip file contains 4 md files in a folder called “TestVaultNew”)
  2. Open the TestVaultNew folder in Obsidian as a new vault. No plugins, no snippets.
  3. Open the file “Test Main 1.md” (These files contain embeds from the other 2 md files in the vault.)
  4. Scroll down until you are looking at one of the embed sections. Click in the middle of the embed section.

Expected result

The editor view remains stable.

Actual result

The editor view jumps to the top of the embed section.

Ok, this is not a bug, but how obsidian currently works (intentionally). It’ll likely change if/when we implement editable embeds. In the meantime you can open a FR asking for
