Core Outline Plugin: highlight location of cursor/view

To clarify, this is currently being worked on and will be released at some point in the the 1.5.x cycle.

Thanks to the Obsidian team for implementing this!

A further request: is there any way to have the outline scroll to sync with the note? Currently, if I click a heading above or below the viewable portion of the outline, I have to scroll the outline itself to find it.

Would it be possible to have the outline snap to my location when I click a heading in the note?

It would be better to either start a new help thread, or if you want to request this, to write out a new Feature requests post, and follow the template.

And I’ll vote for it. I think it would be a very good request!

Including: if you use the command Open outline of the current file, it should scroll to the header position you were at when you ran the command.
