I forget the shortcut (ctrl+click?) but you can open any link in a new pane. Cmd+alt+enter while your text cursor is inside a link also works (I think). Sorry, writing from mobile and my muscles aren’t revealing what they remember.

Ctrl+click a link on Windows/Linux or cmd+click on macOS. Found by searching the forums for “open link in new pane”
