Workspaces manager doesnt scrolls (increases out of screen)

The current implementation of the workspaces manager wasnt made with too many of then in mind- it lacks a maximum height and scrolling.

The way it works the window popup increases in height as new workspaces are added- indefinetly so.

As a result saving besides a certain number (varies from screen to screen, resolution and ui scale of obsidian) makes the height become so high that the user cant see the text area to type name and save- nor acess the full list of saved workspaces anymore.

Steps to reproduce

  • To quickly replicate, save a new workspace with any keyboard character.
  • now keep doing it, creating dummy workspaces just to increase the list

the manager window will becom taller and taller until its going beyond the screen

Expected result

after a certain point height would stop increasing and a vertical scroll bar would appear, allowing for any lenght of saved workspaces to be browsed on screen

Actual result

manager becomes too lage(tall) for the screen

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10

  • Obsidian version: 0.12.4

Additional information

Alternative solution as a feature request: listing workspaces on the sidepanel (preferably as ‘notes’):
Workspaces as panel/list (and or notes) - Feature requests - Obsidian Forum

will be fixed in 0.12.6
