After a change to how youtube operates (likely to curtail AI scraping), video embedding stopped working across the board. We did the necessary changes for Desktop and Android. Unfortunately, there is no easy way currently to be compliant to what YouTube wants from the iOS / iPadOS side due to lack of appropriate APIs in our tech stack (iOS/Capacitor). This is going to be a difficult problem to address.

@RoyT Its already fixed. Just close, relaunch, and update Obsidian from its Settings menu

It’s not “fixed” on iOS/iPadOS at the moment. Some more YouTube workarounds are needed.

If this is not yet fixed, than it works randomly. For me its works each time I paste YT link; thats why I thought its been fixed.
