Using pipe for alternative text does not autocomplete the link

Custom CSS is not the issue.

Steps to reproduce

While attempting to autocomplete a half-finished link, pressing the | key.

Expected result

The link becomes autocompleted to allow me to type the alternative text.

Actual result

The link does not autocomplete.

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Obsidian version: 0.9.6

Additional information

As you can see in the clip below, the # autocomplete works just fine.

It not a bug. It’s a design decision. Otherwise you could not easily write alias for non-existing pages.

You need to press tab or enter and then |.

Gotcha, thank you! Got confused because it was how it functioned before - I must’ve missed the update notes.
