URLs not clickable when property type is set to

Hi, I’m facing the same issue described in this thread which was supposedly Fixed in 1.4.2

Continuing the discussion from URLs not clickable when property type is set to 'List' (was: @ in URL in YAML not parsed correctly):

Perhaps it’s a regression, but you still need to follow and include the bug report template including an example or two. Thanks.

moved to help for not following the bug report template.

Steps to reproduce

  1. create a property of type list with URLs, for example:
---
url-list:
  - https: //www.youtube.com/
  - https: //www.google.com/
---

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide ? [Y]

Expected result

URL should be clickable and should not have a space after “:”

Actual result

Obsidian automatically inserts a space after “:” and URL is not clickable

Environment

Sandbox environment is giving the expected result, but prod environment is giving the actual result described above

There is a space between : and / in your url

Yes, that’s exactly the problem I’m describing here.

If this doesn’t happen in the sandbox vault, You need to figure out which third party plugin is doing this.

How are you creating the links? Copy-paste? Typing them in?

Seems fine for me.

CleanShot 2024-06-29 at 12.22.14

I made a screen recording to show the auto insertion of space when pasting the url

BTW, @ariehen - curious to learn how you created your gif! I uploaded my screen recording MP4 to Giphy and the result was very poor quality (as you can see)!

Yes, you’re right. I will do this. I was just wondering if anyone could glance at my list of extensions and LMK if one of them is commonly known to cause such a problem.

@ariehen Solved the gif problem by creating gif locally using ffmpeg instead of giphy - here’s a better version!

Recently I had a link and it would not clicky-clicky nor bloom with an “!” and so I stared at it for a while (many times the trees get in the way of seeing the forrest) nevertheless, I finally realized I had the NOTE in “Source Mode” and the rest is history. Check that out.

Also, get out of the app and get back in… like rebooting the PC
