Is it typical for Obsidian URL schemes to vary on different Mac devices? My iMac and MacBook provide different URL schemes on each device which makes using them cross-devices not great. Here are two examples of the same Obsidian file on different devices. I use iCloud to sync.
iMac: obsidian://open?vault=Name_Obsidian&file=Testing%20Schemes
MacBook Pro: obsidian://open?vault=Documents&file=Name_Obsidian%2FTesting%20Schemes

Hi @mbobsidian
Someone just ran into a similar problem and linked to your thread. Did you ever figure out the problem?
Here, I answered the other person, and it might be relevant to you. Did you accidentally open two vaults, with different paths?
/Documents <-- this is a vault
.obsidian/
Name_Obsidian <-- this is also a vault
.obsidian/
I’m not familiar with the problem, but:
How are you creating the URL? Is it from the command, Copy Obsidian URL?
That other thread looks like maybe the person opened up their vault from a different folder. It looks like one of their vaults is “Name_Obsidian”, and the other is “Documents/Name_Obsidian”.
If a person did that, then they could edit the vault in “Documents” and it would edit the notes in the subfolder just fine. Then when it syncs, the vault in “Name_Obsidian” would see the files …
