This is my first forum post here, I apologize if I did anything improperly.
Steps to reproduce
When making a numbered list in previous versions, I was able to start from any number and have the next number out of order if I wanted to overwrite the automatic ordered number that is inserted when you press the enter key.
I am now finding this to be impossible without putting some text between the numbered lists. If I try changing the number it automatically inserts, it simply does not.
- Create a new file
- Start a numbered list from a number other than 1
- After putting something in that line, hit enter and let Obsidian automatically add a "X. " to the next line (X being whatever number is sequentially after the number you put in the first line)
- About 95% of the time, it is impossible to change that number to anything else, even though in previous versions this was simply possible.

Expected result
When changing the automatically inserted number, I want my change to actually occur.
Actual result
Unable to change the automatically inserted number to anything out of sequential order from the previous number.
And oftentimes, with an odd amount of unpredictability (even in the sandbox vault) I was unable to start a numbered list from any number other than 1 at all.
