I had a problem with the tasks plugin stuck on “Tasks Loading”
I found this post which described my issue: Tasks plugin says ‘loading tasks…’ after latest update - Help - Obsidian Forum
The user solved the issue above by deleting two corrupt files. Unfortunately my vault was too big to make searching for two random files a viable solution.
So I made a copy of my vault and deleted a folder. I restarted Obsidian to see if Tasks Loading still appeared. If it did I deleted another folder.
I eventually narrowed the issue down one specific folder. Removing that meant tasks worked properly.
It looks like problem was down to some large PowerPoint files I had stored in that folder. I wonder if the Tasks plugin was looking through these and getting stuck?
