Tag in canvas's card not show in tag-pane

A card is just an editor, not a note which is a markdown file. So it isn’t indexed into the metadata cache. Convert the card to a note, and the tag will appear.

This may be a bit confusing because search includes cards.

Allow tags for a canvas / Support tags in canvas cards

Use case or problem I’d like to be able to assign tags to a canvas. Proposed solution Please add a function to the canvas that allows doing so.
