Coming from programs like Onenote and Notion, one of the major disadvantages to any Markdown-based editor is the inability to create subpages. Granted, neither of those programs is perfect, but subpages can be just slightly more useful or intuitive than nested folders.
What if (I have no idea if this could be possible) the UI interpreted folders with the same name as a markdown file as the subfolder of that page? So your vault would look something like this:
- Parent directory
- Example (folder)
- Example.md
The two items could be merged within the UI, replicating the function of a Onenote subpage.
Also, I can’t wait until the WYSIWYG editor is implemented!
