I have the suspicion that as part of one of the recent updates, the behavior when creating new panes by splitting the pane has been changed:
When using the “split right” command, the focus remains in the old window instead of being set to the new pane. This proves to be very annoying at work and is counterintuitive.
If this is not a bug, it would be desirable to at least be able to set this behavior in the options. Thank you very much for your consideration.
