Spelling options/suggestions don't appear in context menu when triggered by keyboard

Steps to reproduce

  1. Type something with a spelling error
  2. Position the cursor in the middle of the misspelled/red-underlined word
  3. Press the Application/Menu key (or Shift+F10) to make the Context menu appear

Expected result

Context menu appears with spelling suggestions and the Add to dictionary option

Actual result

Context menu appears with no spelling suggestions or Add to dictionary option

Environment

  • Operating system: Linux
  • Obsidian version: 0.13.7
  • Turned Safe Mode on and restarted before testing
  • NOT using Live Preview editor

Additional information

Dupe of: Menu / Application key on Spelling Errors
Not the same as: Keyboard Context Menu Button (Right Click Shift-F10) doesn't trigger at the right spot (the context menu always appears at exactly the right location - for example if I select “Paste” from the context menu, it will paste exactly where the cursor was located)

As i have stated in the archived report, This works in the new editor.
This is not going to get fixed for the legacy editor.

Understood, and I can confirm that spelling suggestions do appear in the new editor (both in Live Preview and Source mode).

Sorry, it was not clear to me (from the other report) that you meant the “new editor” that was released the day prior to my first post and not some other changes that had taken place in the year since the original report. Thank you for the clarification.
