There have been other requests to expose note creation date: Show creation and update date

This one is specifically about the file list - and adding this sort option. It would be valuable for my workflow when I use creation date as a proxy to navigate within my notes.

Modification date gets messed up when I go back and change old notes, either for organisation or because it’s out of date.

Yes, please. Last modified is a good option, but this is needed too.

Think this is incredibly useful, especially if you want to use obsidian as a parent-child organization of notes! Would love for this to be implemented!
