Use case or problem
When interacting with canvas, I often need to find a node that contains a specific text, or to check canvas for specific content, which in my case is especially important for initial development and further refinement of canvas. And for this I have to look through the whole canvas manually, looking for the node I need, which is just a waste of time.
In case of markdown files, for such cases there is a function “Search current file”, but in canvas files this function doesn’t work.
Proposed solution
Make the “Search current file” function work for .canvas files > .canvas files become available for quick search on them > problem solved
Current workaround (optional)
- Manual search
- In the case of checking a canvas for specific content, you can use a third-party text editor that has a search function, such as Notepad++. But this will help only partially, if there is a need to move to the searched node for further interaction with it.
