Renaming doesn't update the links to it

Steps to reproduce

renaming a note by typing the new name in the omnibox above

Expected result

to rename the file and updating all the links to it

Actual result

for some files .it just renames the note and not updating the links giving me the error
“can’t read property ‘path of null’”

note: it can only test it in my vault and not the core vault because it is just happens for some notes not all the notes. I can’t find based on what criteria

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 7
  • Obsidian version: v.0.12.12 but the installer at v.012.04

Can you give us an example of where links are not updated?
Old/new name of note, name and path of the notes that need to be updated?

Does it happen in the help vault?

as an example:
name of note: Health Journal.md
path: C:\Users\[My Name]\Dropbox\vaults\Vault 01\1_PARA\Areas\Health Journal
and my name is very usual. no spaces or non standard characters in it, just the basic English alphabet.

I will try to see if i can replicate that in the help vault too, but it is going to take time as i don’t know how to replicate it in my main vault for certain.
and also i will reinstall the obsidian with latest installer and try again as i just remember that caused some issues for me previously.
