Prevent the loss of data when disk full

We strongly recommend you to search the forum with possible keywords before making a new feature request. Use case or problem

Everything is described in this post

When the disk is full, each open note becomes a blank note (it is erased)

Proposed solution

  • Prevent the open notes to be modified (the note should be in read-only)
  • Receive a strong visible warning message to say : “You cannot modify the note until there are more available disk space”

Current workaround (optional)

  • manually detect that notes are erased
  • manually free disk space
  • go to the deleted blank notes and press ctrl Z to restore the content
