What I’m trying to do
The default behavior of Obsidian when you click a link to a note is to create a new file when it doesn’t exist. For my main vault that’s great, and I definitely want to keep that. For a new vault I’m creating I want to prevent that. So when I click a link to a file that doesn’t exist, it should “just do nothing” (or give me a popup/warning that the file doesn’t exist and ask if it should be created).
Things I have tried
I’ve looked at a lot of posts on the forum but I haven’t been able to either find a plugin, setting, or post that has the solution. Any thoughts are more than welcome!
