The PDF reader’s “adapt to theme” feature is useful but does not work on scanned images.
Proposed solution
Zotero is an example of an existing software that allows PDF display to be varied, and works equally well with scanned documents. Since I do my reading and annotating in Obsidian it would be great to have that flexibility.
