Use case or problem
The red underlines visually distract me enough that I often disable spellcheck to put my mind at ease. I have quite an extended vocabulary of words that I have made up but do not necessarily want to add to dictionary for fear I may take the spellcheck advice and use one of these words some day on an official document.
Proposed solution
Like in some other programs, it would be nice to have an option to ignore a misspelling. Honestly, I don’t even mind if it doesn’t remember the ignores between Obsidian sessions, but it might be nice to have that option.
Current workaround (optional)
Just toggling spellcheck and occasionally adding the made up words to dictionary and keeping a list. I guess I always assumed that the dictionary was vault specific but am realizing now that that may be untrue. Hmmm.
