Use case or problem
I don’t like to open the same file in many times in many tabs.
I open Example.md in Tab 1 and I open a new tab (Tab 2).
If I click Example.md on Explorer panel, it should not open Example.md in Tab 2, it should focus to Example.md in Tab 1.
If Example.md is not opened in any tabs then it should open that file in the focused tab.
Proposed solution
There should be a new setting in the Settings > Editor page called “Only open a file once per …”
“…” should be a select box, can be “Pane” or “Window”.
Current workaround (optional)
I use this plugin, not author’s fault but this is unintuitive.
Only one tab for any one file & pane
