Obsidian snap not open in Ubuntu 24.04

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Obsidian for the first time.
  2. Open a vault in the disk.
  3. Close Obsidian.
  4. Attempt to reopen Obsidian.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes

Expected result

Obsidian should open normally upon the second attempt.

Actual result

Obsidian does not open after the second attempt. There is no error message or indication of why it fails to open.

Environment

  • Obsidian version: 1.5.12
  • Operating system: Ubuntu 24.04 (beta)
  • Desktop environment: (Gnome)
  • Obsidian installation method: Snap
