Obsidian Publish: Authentication for corporate use (Single Sign On)

Use case or problem

I’d like to use Publish for our corporate intranet, with access limited to employees only. From what I can tell, Publish only allows simple password protection currently, but IMO that is insufficient for most (all?) corporate/intranet use.

Proposed solution

In our case, all of our employees have a subscription to Office365 and authenticate using their corporate email address. I’d like to use that to control access to the published Obsidian site if possible.

I’m no expert on this topic but would expect there are additional options like Auth0 and Azure Active Directory .

I’d like to chime in that I’m looking for this feature too.

Either a configurable SSO authentication, or a way to lock the page to a specific Client Certificate, so that I can apply SSO authentication from a Netscaler or another kind of Gateway.

+1, critical feature for adoption at my organization. Supporting SSO for Sync+Publish is a must.

Agreed - this is needed for org wide adoption where I work…
