Obsidian freezing after being left idle

Steps to reproduce

After leaving obsidian idle for about an hour (laptop goes to sleep in this time) on turning it on obsidian freezes for about a minute or two.

Expected result

Not freezing

Actual result

Completely frozen for two minutes including exiting

Environment

  • Operating system:
    Windows 10
  • Obsidian version:
    v0.12.15

Additional information

Obsidian installed on a SSD vault is in my HDD, might be an issue with the drive spinning up but I don’t think that should take 2 minutes.

do you get errors in console (ctrl-shift-i)?

Nope, it didn’t respond to anything till it unfroze

After it unfrezes do you see errors in console?

Does it happen if the help vault?

Need to test those two will get back to you

I have this issue, too, now, but just on the note switch view. I can’t ctrl-shift-i to to give errors. :confused:
