Obsidian cannot open the vault on the Windows virtual disk

I want to encrypt my data on the cloud and decrypt it on windows and mac.
I found that cryptomator + cloud is a good way. But it seems that Obsidian cannot open the vault on the Windows virtual disk. It works well on mac.

This all depends on how exactly this virtual disk is emulated. It has to support all the operation of a real directory, including watch, which obsidian needs. Nothing we can do about this,.

I am also interested in encryption of my Obsidian Vault. Currently I use Obsidian on iPhone, iPad and on my Mac and sync via iCloud.

Can cryptomator used in this scenario and if yes, how have you setup your system?

I’m not using cryptomator on my phone or ipad, so i’m not sure. But cryptomator is available on appstore.
