Use case or problem
On phones there is a Quick Switcher button in the bottom navigation bar, but on tablets there is no corresponding button. There is a button in the Ribbon, but the Ribbon can be hidden — and if I remember right, will be hidden by default in the future. The Quick Switcher is a major navigation feature that should be easily accessible by default. I use it often and others do too.
Proposed solution
Add a button to the tab title bar on tablets. That’s where the other items in the phone’s bottom nav bar are located in the tablet (except tab switcher which is replaced by tabs).
Current workaround (optional)
Use Commander community plugin to add button to tab title bar on tablet.
Prior workaround: Ignore phone’s bottom nav button, and set Quick Action to Quick Switcher for consistent interface across mobile devices.
