In the Android app, tap the tab list button and observe that the circled ‘+’ icon means “open a new tab”
Observe that the same circled ‘+’ icon in the bottom toolbar (when not in edit mode) opens the quick switcher: it replaces the note in the current tab
Observe that the icon for “quick switcher” in the lower right hamburger menu is a document with a magnifying glass
Observe that when adding the quick switcher to the editor toolbar under
Settings -> Mobile, the icon is an arrow

The quick switcher should have a consistent icon across the app.
There are three different icons for the quick switcher, and one of them is the same as “open a new tab”.

Especially point 2. was confusing to me, I initially thought that the ‘+’ in the bottom toolbar meant to open a new tab and opening in the same tab was a bug, I’m not sure which one it’s supposed to be. I prefer the current behavior of having access to the quick switcher without opening any menus, but the icon should be consistent.
