New Note in current Tab

I honestly wonder if you guys are trolling with this.

You changed it so with an update a few years ago, that new notes are always opened in a new tab. Since then, several people have been complaining, yet 99 options but this ain’t one (Talking about the mobile App).

Why?

You can use command Create new note in current tab. This is available both desktop and mobile.

Thanks. Am I correct in that, the Pull Action is the only way to use commands on mobile?

Just so anyone understands: We’re actually being trolled - at least, I am.

It’d make way more sense for people to simply open a new note in a new tab via the tabs panel, maybe even the button at the bottom of the note, but the least via the „New Note“ Button… however apparently, even though it might sound pathologically grandiose to people, this is a psyop, and my tendency to write down a note before giving it a title, was being exploited.

What OS and device are you referring to?

Are you on Android, and are you referring to this reported bug? Mobile: Inconsistent icon of quick switcher / new tab

Or can you otherwise share a link to the other complaints, so we know what you’re referring to? (I just tested on iOS, and creating a new note creates the new note in the current tab.)
