Multiple Instances of one vault

Use case or problem

I use Windows 11 and have multiple Desktops for different Projects that I am working on in parallel:

On each Desktop, I need an isolated Obsidian instance, with its own side bars. All instances need to operate on the same vault.

It needs to be the same vault for different Desktops because my peoples database must be in the same vault as notes on Project 1 and 2.

Proposed solution

OneNote can do this, allowing for switching between Projects with minimal mental burden.
