Steps to reproduce

Keyboard freezes after correcting a word in a sentence using right click and selecting a correct word. ( arrow keys continue to work )

Expected result

The selected word is replaced and the ability to continue typing.

Actual result

The word is replaced, trackpad & arrow keys are able to move the curser but unable to continue typing.

Selecting any other window and returning to the edit window restores the ability to type.

Environment

  • Operating system: MacBook Air M1, macOS Monterey 12.0.1
  • Obsidian version: v0.12.19

Download and reinstall obsidian. Post q screen recording of this happening in the help vault.

Here’s the video. After correcting missppeled I typed a number of random charters. Couldn’t figure out how to show it…

Does it happen if you have only one pane open?

It does happen with only one pane open. I also noted that clicking on another open app and returning to Obsidian I was able to continue typing.

When I found the issue I was using the gruvbox and default themes. It does not happen with the Sanctum theme. All the plugins remained the same.

I went to the developer console to look for errors and the problem went away on the default and gruvbox themes.

(Cursor issue? The Sanctum theme changes the cursor color)
