It would be useful to add an item to the integrated macOS share menu for Obsidian. The functionality I image would either send the document to Obsidian as an attachment (and save it in the designated attachments folder) if nothing is selected, or send the highlighted text to either a new note or the current note (depending on default settings).

I would second this request. I keep expecting to find a way to share my texts/notes to Obsidian from other apps, but nothing right now.
