Linux: Slow start, all plugins disabled

Steps to reproduce

Disable all plugins. Enable restricted mode. Restart Obsidian.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes

Expected result

I expected Obsidian to load in about 5,000 ms. No plug-ins are shown as enabled.

Actual result

Obsidian loads in about 50,0000 ms. 1 plug-in is shown. I don’t know what that 1 remaining plugin is.

Additional information

The database is local. Obsidian loads fast/instantly with the Sandbox vault. This issue sounds very similar to MacOS: Slow start, even with all plugins disabled. But since it’s a different platform (Linux, Flatpak install), I created a new topic.

Other details.

  • My vault is located in the user’s home directory (e.g., /home/user/)
  • I only have/use 1 vault
  • I only have/use 1 main user on the system.
  • I have been using Obsidian for a while. The issue only recently came up. I’m not sure what caused it (perhaps Obsidian updated? perhaps a system update?).
