Linux Bug: Opened File is not refreshed/updated on change

Issue is probably the same as this closed bug report: File changes made outside Obsidian are not shown (AppImage version)

  • No third-party Plugins installed
  • AppImage Version 1.5.3 in Ubuntu 23.4

Steps to reproduce

  • create a file in Obsidian, save it
  • change the file outside Obsidian (other editor) and save it

Expected result

File in opened Tab is refreshed/updated to show the recent changes to the file

Actual result

Nothing is updated. Obsidian shows old/unchanged version of the file

This may happen if the filesystem/OS where the files are store does not fire the appropriate signal to inform us that the file changed. Nothing we can do about it.
