Steps to reproduce

  • Create note with LaTex filename (simple ones don’t make any trouble with the file system)
  • OR: Create note with ascii name only (and change link alt to LaTex)

Then link to the notes.

Expected result

LaTex would be rendered

Actual result

Neither the LaTex filename is rendered (which I suspect is by design actually) nor the link alt name is rendered

  • Operating system: ubuntu 20.04
  • Obsidian version: 0.9.17

It’s not a bug. We just don’t support this. You can open a feature request for the third case.’
