Keeping a page folded or a keyboard shortcut

Hi - I’ve been enjoying folding my notes as I go - but when I visit another page and return to the one I was working on, my notes are no longer folded. Is there a way to either to remember the prior folding choice or a keyboard short cut to “fold all” on a page?

It isn’t currently possible to keep a page folded, but you can define an Obsidian hotkey to “fold all headings and lists” or “unfold all headings and lists”

It seems strange to me that folding works in edit mode and doesn’t work in preview mode.
