Steps to reproduce
Currently on iPadOS, Mobile catalyst build 1.9.9
- Open Obsidian
- Open any file
- Open File Recovery for that file (I did so via the command palette command File recovery: Open local history).
- Notice as the File Recovery Window opens, you can very briefly see the left-sidebar with dated snapshots, however this disappears within 1-2 seconds. The File Recovery window shows only the focused snapshots preview window, fully expanded, with no sidebar visible. You cannot view or select snapshots.

Yes. I am running mobile (iPad), so I created a brand new vault on the iPad storage rather than iCloud (where my other vaults are stored) to double check the error. The vault is default theme/no CSS/restricted mode enabled and I closed and re-opened Obsidian and re-performed testing. The bug appears on my other vaults also regardless of plugin/theme/CSS/icloud status.
Expected result
I expect the File Recovery window to open and show me the main snapshot preview pane, and also the left-sidebar that allows me to see dated snapshots. I expect to be able to browse these snapshots to view and restore a particular one.
Actual result
When the File Recovery popup Window opens, within 1-2 seconds, the expected left-sidebar disappears from view and I am unable to access it. I see instead the Title bar (with ‘show changes’ toggle and copy/restore/x buttons), and underneath, the preview pane of the most recent snapshot currently in focus – which is taking up the entire window. It seems like this latter window expands to cover the sidebar as there is a sliding animation.
