Use case or problem
When I hit # to add a tag to a note, a context menu appears that lists type ahead results for tags that match what I’ve typed so far.
Currently, type ahead results are not sorted in an easy to scan format. If you use nested tags to organize your tags, it can be difficult to quickly scan to find your tag. You have to continue typing.
In the below example, academic should be at top of list, etc.
Proposed solution
Alphabetize tags in typeahead results.
You would not sort by frequency of use unless the primary use case was finding common tags.
The typeahead results are a tool that best helps you find the best tag from a set you don’t remember.
In the example above, I’d forgotten I had academic as a tag, and that was exactly what I needed.
