Greetings,
I’m confused. In the Obsidian settings, you can choose a download folder for images. Yet when I clip a page, the clipped page does not point to where the clipped images are stored. Instead, the images in the clipped md file still points to the internet images. So what’s the purpose of the images folder in settings if the folder is not used?

If you paste an image (like if you copy a screenshot), or drag an image from your computer, then it will copy the image into the folder you chose.

If you copy html, yeah it will stay as html links. If you search the forum, I think some people have found workarounds, or scripts that automatically download those images.
