How to show folder/directory structure?

I would like to see my folder / directory structure. Seeing the notes as well clutters my view of the structure. My use cases for this:

Use case 1: When creating a new note, I want to see my folder structure, so I can see the options where I want to add the new note.

Use case 2: I want to see my folder structure, so that I can evaluate it and potentially reorganize it.

Workaround: in the shell, run the command:
find . -type d
