How to manually sort entries in the new Kanban Base View?

What I’m trying to do

sort manually entries in a column

Things I have tried

  1. since i would do it with a custom sort property that updates automatically when i manually reorder the entries, I added a sorting property (tried both numeric and string) and selected it as sort property. no works
  2. searched the docs
  3. checked all view secret buttons

i think it’s not possibile.

the changelog says “Use Group by to define the columns, then drag and drop to reorder them.” and it must be reorder among the columns/groups, not inside its own column
